I stumbled across this climax scene on Youtube and instantly thought of writing a note. 'Azhakiya Ravanan' is one of my all time favorite Mammootty films. I am a hardcore Mohanlal fan from the time I remember, but there are some roles that could only be essayed to perfection by Mammootty. Shankardas aka Kutty Shankaran is one such role. The gimmicks of a poor turned rich person coming back to his native is hilarious. The situational comedy scenes and Mammootty's acting makes you fall in love with this film. But the strength of this beautiful film is in it's climax. Mammootty gives out a performance that can't be matched and with ease and grace.
